<div class="ptitle"> HOSPITALITY, LESIURE and TOURISM Management DEPARTMENT</div> <p>There are two programme options in the Hospitaity, Leisure and Tourism Management (HLTM) Department which are offered both at the ND and HND levels namely:</p> <ul> <li>Hospitality Management</li> <li>Lesiure and Tourism</li> </ul> <p><strong>Hospitality Management</strong></p> <p>The ND programme in Hospitality Management is designed to produce diplomates who should possess sound theoretical and practical knowledge for carrying out supervisory position in the Hotel, Restaurants, Hospital, Industrial Catering, Institutional Catering either with polytechnics or universities, welfare homes, armed services, club houses, airline catering and travel agencies.</p> <p>The HND programme in Hospitality Management is designed to produce graduates capable of assuming managerial roles in Hospitality establishments.</p> <p><strong>Leisure and Tourism</strong></p> <p>The ND Leisure and Tourism programme is designed to produce Tourism personnel capable of planning, managing and promoting Leisure and Tourism activities, such as travel and tours, indoor and outdoor activities for Leisure, recreation and business.</p> <p>The HND Leisure and Tourism programme is designed to produce management and technical manpower capable of assuming managerial and executive responsibilities in promoting Leisure and tourism activities, such as travel and tours, indoor and outdoor activities for Leisure recreation, education and business.</p>
